Putting Methane Tamer™ to the Test
Heath didn’t just participate in CH4 Global trials; he co-created through them. Starting with a small-scale test of a freeze-dried seaweed prototype, he and his team monitored 10 cattle on Methane Tamer and a similar number as the control group. While they saw strong feed acceptance, there were growing pains. The crumbly, dusty texture made it hard to mix evenly in the feed wagon, so Heath provided actionable feedback that helped CH4 Global improve the product.
Collaboration in Action
CH4 Global actively engaged with Heath to refine Methane Tamer, addressing his concerns about texture and consistency. After multiple iterations, the next product trial included 80 cattle on the additive and 80 without, and the new formulation proved its worth, both in handling and performance.
Today, all 1,500 head at HB Rural receive Methane Tamer daily, a testament to Heath’s belief in the product and to the power of partnership.
